CA. Statewide landscape show this June
I just found out that I was juried in to two more highly competitive shows. One is the California Statewide Landscape competition, called "Incredible Places", an the other is the California Art Club's "Waterscapes" competition. I'm so encouraged. I sent out 10 different paintings about six weeks ago to several different events, and out of those 10, 7 have been juried into different shows. I was honestly quite discouraged when I found out I was not included in the Carmel Art Festival this year, but these other recent announcements have given me the affirmation I needed to just keep trying to improve my skills and paint the things I love and enter the ones I feel have turned out the best. Not every one will be accepted, but if I don't try, I'll never get in!
"Breathtaking" got in to the California Statewide Landscape competition, and "Asilomar Spring" got in to the California Art Club's "Waterscapes" competition. (See "Asilomar Spring" below under the previous entry.)
