I was invited by Mountainsong gallery in Carmel to become one of their full time artists. They asked me to bring 40 new paintings in, and we delivered them all on 7/26. They have just signed on with Amazon to sell fine art on line, at top gallery prices, so I also signed a contract with Amazon. My work can be seen on both the Mountainsong website and the Amazon website after July 31st. This invitation was the desire of my heart and prayer request for over two years, so I'm absolutely thrilled! They took all 40 of my very best pieces, but I still have over 100 in my studio. I've also sold quite a few (10) paintings in the past two weeks, so it seems the art market is finally picking up. I will still be selling paintings from this website and in person at my studio, but my prices will now need to be consistent with the gallery prices. (My prices are the lowest of any other artist in the gallery, so they are still very reasonable. As my work begins to sell more often through the gallery, the prices will be going up.) Anyway, please come visit whenever you'd like...I still have lots of beautiful paintings here in santa Cruz!
