Sunflowers and Daisies
This year's Open Studios comes up the first and third weekends of October, the 5th and 6th, 19th and 20th. We're open from 11:00-5:00 each day. I have a special group of 25 coming from the MacKenzie designed golf courses all over the world...many from England. They will arrive early on the 5th at 10:00 AM for a private showing. If you'd like to come ahead of time, before the "crowds", please give me a call for a special appointment. The new floral paintings will go quickly, as will some of the most recent landscapes, (if this year is like years in the past.) All are posted on the website now, so you can pick out your favorites and reserve them ahead of time if you'd like! I also just printed hundreds of new greeting cards, four images from the latest floral still life pieces. This means I now have over 25 images in cards to choose from, both landscapes and floral/still life paintings. I've also added a whole new category of original oil miniatures: paintings from 4x6, 5x7 to 6x8, so they are all $200 or less. Hope to see many of you here!
Also, in early October, the charity auctions for the local Hospice foundation and Sienna House home for unwed mothers will be held. I've donated about 15 pieces to them, so if you go and want to support those organizations, you will be able to get some of my artwork at very reasonable prices...plus, all the money goes to those fabulous causes! Enjoy!
