Our month long road trip through the Canadian Rockies was quite an adventure. I've just posted almost 30 new paintings from the trip. I sold two wet ones right off my easel; one at Emerald Lake and one at Maligne Lake. Both collectors were delightful people and had special stories that made the paintings dear to them.
I will be competing in the North Tahoe Plein Air event the first week of September. The show and sale begins on Saturday AM at Northstar. If you are in the area, please come by to see the event and say hello. After I get back from Tahoe, I will be teaching a plein air workshop here in Santa Cruz on September 13-14 through the Santa Cruz Art league. Please contact them to sign up. The class will be limited to 12 students.
