I will once again be hosting Open Studios, this year the first and third weekends of October: 7-8 and 21-22, 11:00-5:00 each day. I will have the 31 new paintings from our recent trip to England, plus several new ones from our CA coastal areas, the Sierras , and some new florals. There will be yummy goodies and soft drinks, and lots of new cards to choose from.
Please come by and say hello and see some of my new work. If you'd like to have a private pre-showing, please call me or email me. I will be hosting an "English Tea and art Show" on October 1st, from noon to 5:00, so that should also be a great day to come visit.
Hope to see many you some time in these next few weeks!

I had the amazing opportunity this summer to paint through England for over a month, including the Cotswolds, the Lake District and private gardens throughout Yorkshire. I was astounded by the beauty of the English countryside! Lee was so patient to drive me all over those tiny little roads, on the left side, and over mountains, around lakes, etc., to find just the perfect painting sites. He even held an big umbrella over me while I painted in the rain showers off and on! After a few days in London, we stayed in several tiny villages in the Cotswolds, then spent several days in The Lakes, then drove to Scotland so he could play golf at St. Andrews a few days, then back to the Lakes, then to Yorkshire for a flower workshop with my dear friend Kathy Anderson. We stayed there at Rosemary's beautiful Manor House for 6 nights, (Rosemary's Brushes), ate at pubs each night with Symi and the other artists, then went on to our last three days in the Cotswolds, staying in beautiful Bibury. I painted every day, doing two a day at times, in spite of several rain showers and often changing weather. I found England has captured my heart! Hope you enjoy the paintings!
I am hosting an "English Tea and Art Show" on Sunday afternoon, October 1st from noon to 5:00. I'll be showing my 31 new paintings from the English trip, plus my studio will be open to show my latest pieces from this past year. Please come and enjoy some tea and yummies and hear some of my stories from my thrilling English painting adventure! As of September 24th, five are already sold, so please let me know ASAP if you are interested in purchasing one or more, since these are all originals.
