Chipping Campden Cottage, 12x16
I was happy to have so many friends and past collectors come by to visit and see my latest paintings from Canada, and also to sell the one from Emerald Lake Falls, 12x9. Also, Wisteria Antiques chose to keep "Chipping Camden" one from my England painting trip last Fall, to show and sell at their store, along with three others of our coastal areas. Thank you so much Wisteria for hosting me once again in your lovely gardens, and for so many of you who came to visit. I also met some wonderful new friends and future collectors, so I am very grateful for the weekend.

Acadia Coast
I was thrilled to receive a letter last night from the historic Argosy Gallery, Bar Harbor, Maine, inviting me to hold a solo exhibition there in the near future. The gallery owner has sold 5 of the 6 pieces I left her on our last trip there for the Acadia Invitational last August. I also sold others right off my easel to collectors we met in the park. I am so very grateful! This was a wonderful encouragement to keep painting!

I will be having another solo show at Wisteria Antiques in Aptos on July 14-15, opening at 11:00 closing at 4:30. It is called Art in the Garden and at last year's event I sold 11 pieces to new collectors. I will be bringing many of my brand new paintings from the Canadian Rockies, and some new ones from Point Lobos and Carmel and also Big Sur. Please come to visit me and say hello and see some of my new favorite paintings! (Coming early on Saturday helps you to have the best selection, especially of the newest pieces .) I will also bring a few greeting cards, which are mini giclee prints on water color paper. Hope to see many of you there!

Lee and I just returned from a fabulous painting trip to the Canadian rockies. We stayed at the Banff Springs Hotel, Emerald Lake Lodge, Lake O'Hara Lodge, and then at Lake Moraine Lodge. I did 18 paintings, some in the snow and rain, others with lots of wind and freezing temperatures. Summer in the Rockies! We were delusional to bring our shorts! We made sone really great new friends at each lodge, and I sold two paintings to guests at our beloved Lake O'Hara, with several others interested after I got them up on this website today.
