Dear Friends,
Wisteria Antiques in Aptos will be hosting a one woman show for me on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 5-7, from 11:00 to 5:00 each day. I will be showing 25+ new paintings from the Grand Tetons and the California coast, along with lots of new giclee print cards from my recent painting adventures in Wyoming. Please come by to visit and see all of my latest work. The show is held outdoors among the beautiful gardens, so no need to worry about Covid. Hope to see lots of you there!

We had a fabulous 10 day trip to the Grand Teton National Park in mid June. We stayed at our beloved Jenny Lake Lodge, on our 10th trip there, and celebrated our 51st anniversary and my 72nd birthday. I painted every day except the one that got rained out. Lee read and hiked and we met lots of great new people and reconnected with several old friends and lodge servers that we'd met there before . Now that our son and his family live in Bozeman, we will be visiting the park at least once a year. We may go in late September before the lodge closes for the season.
This piece was done early AM at Jenny Lake before the wind came up. We saw lots of wildlife, including a herd of bison that crossed right in front of our car, a moose, several elk, antelope, deer, but no bears this trip. The wildflowers were just at their peak as we left, so lots of color all over the valley. It had snowed just two days before we arrived, so the mountains had many beautiful snowy peaks.
