I just learned that my Carmel gallery, James Rieser Fine Art, will be closing as of the end of October, after 26 years in business. I'm really sorry to see this happen, as Jim has been so kind to me and sold so many paintings over the past several years. But, because of his closing, for the first time in many years, I am not in contract with any gallery and can chose to set my own prices, without underselling the galleries. I hope to join another fine gallery that has invited me to show in Carmel after Open Studios.

So, I'm having a huge studio sale! Every painting will be generously discounted. If you have ever wanted to own one my original oils, this is the chance to come by to get one or more at great prices, before I sign a new contract with my new gallery. I will include my latest pieces from the coast and Yosemite and recent trips to the Grand Tetons, etc. There will be hundreds to choose from. Please contact me if you can't make the Open Studio times these next two weekends, and I can plan to meet you here at my studio for a private showing.
